Scream
Is there such a thing as a "standard contract for teaching artists?"
Some local Arts Councils and non-profit arts advocacy groups have generic contracts that you artists and teaching artists can download and modify.
If there's no group like this near you, or if the ones that are don't have the resources you need, search online for arts advocacy groups in large cities. Often the size of their constituency means they have better resources to support providing these things for free.
That said, standardization is to artists as herding is to cats. There's always some work to make generic contracts fit your needs.
Also, most institutions who hire artists to teach have their own contracts that the hirers have no choice but to use. So, in most cases, they can't sign any contract you bring.
