Big Thought

Big Thought is a creative learning organization based in Dallas, Texas. The group's mission is to "make imagination a part of everyday learning."

The thought behind Big Thought is that "a community working together can lift children up and better their lives using arts, culture and education as tools and catalysts."

Big Thought supports community partnerships and they maintain a relationship with the Wolf Trap Institute for Early Learning Through the Arts; which provides programs and services for students and educators through regional and national programs that I never knew existed.

Also: Last month, on the eve of Arts Advocacy Day, Wynton Marsalis delivered a well-received lecture mixed with performance titled The Ballad of the American Arts for a huge crowd at the Kennedy Center.
